Sipadan Water Village is a resort beautifully constructed with Bajau architectural design. Part of the Mabul Island is
also home to groups of Bajau fishermen who have built their traditional palm thatched houses. The Bajau Laut, the
worlds only tribe of nomadic sea gypsies spends their lives on the water. Over the years, some have entered a transition
from sea nomadic to sedentary village life at a former major anchorage site such as Mabul.
The entire resort is built over water on stilts made of Belian Wood commonly called ironwood, laid in certain points so as
to minimise damage to the existing reef. In its design, Sipadan Water Village has achieved near utopia in its over-the-
water layout, splendid water cottage accommodations with flowered sidewalks, wonderfully prepared Asian and
Continental cuisine, and impeccable and personable service.
Sipadan Water Village international staffs of dive guides and instructors pride themselves on knowing the intricacies of
their reefs and willing to share their macro subject secrets with anyone interested.
Getting There
Take a short 45 minutes domestic flight from Kota Kinabalu to Tawau.
Meet at Tawau Airport and transferred to Semporna Jetty (Harbor) by van. Journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15
min drive. Transfer to Mabul Resort by speedboat. Boat ride takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes depending on sea and
weather condition.

Semporna jetty to Mabul Island : 09:30hrs; 12:00hrs & 14:00hrs
Mabul Island to Semporna Jetty : 0630hrs;10:00hrs & 13:00hrs
The Dive Centre is responsible for all in-water activities and scuba training and education. The centre opens from 0700hrs
onwards and is equipped with lockers, showers, toilet and a common area for resting between dives with complimentary
snack, hot coffee and tea. It carries 5 Bauer compressors for refilling tanks, over 300 aluminium 3000 psi / 80 cubic foot
tanks with American style "K" valves, rental sets of scuba diving equipment that are mainly Scuba Pro.
The centre equipped with custom-built fibreglass dive boats that carry 12 passengers each. Each boat goes out 3 trips
daily accompanied by a boatman and a Dive Master.
All Dive Masters are specially trained in the marine ecology of Mabul Island and will not only show divers the attractions
but also impart their knowledge of the marine life so that guests may return from their memorable holiday with a better
understanding of the environment.
This is what differentiated the Dive Masters at Sipadan Water Village from elsewhere: An attitude and passion for what
Mabul has to offer.
JETTY FEE
Malaysian (Local) - RM 2 per person / per trip Adult (with Malaysian Identification).
Child below 11 year old is free of charge.
Non Malaysian (Foreigners) - RM 10 per person / per trip (with foreign passports).
Child below 11 year old - RM5 per person.
CORKAGE CHARGE
Guest who brings their own carbonated or alcoholic drinks to the resort will be charged RM80 per carton upon arrival
regardless the guests drink at their rooms, restaurant or bar.
LAND & SEA TRANSFERS
Return land and sea transfers for Tawau airport or Tawau/Semporna town area are provided in the package for
SAME DAYS of check-in and check-out only.
For a booking LESS THAN 4 PAX, it must comply with existing land and boat schedule available or RM800 + 6% SST per
trip will be charged.

NOTE: For early morning departs at 6.30am, guest is requiring to settle their bill 1 night before at reception counter.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. Minimum number of pax required per trip is 4 pax. Single traveler or less than 4 pax is subjected to coincide with our
scheduled transfers.
2. Full payment would be required one month (30 days) before the arrival date. Otherwise, the reservation is subjected to
automatic cancellation and will be made available for resale.
3. A deposit, 30% of total payment would be required upon blocking the space or if the date is within one month, full
payment would be required. If cancel booking, deposit will be forfeited or non-refundable.
4. Without any deposit, room shall be automatically release if we run of room by the time we have other client requesting
the same reserved dates.
5. In case of cancellation due to health reason, payment made would not be refundable but is transferable to other dates
within one year from the cancellation. All items in the package are non-refundable or transferable.
6. Sipadan Entrance fee is NOT included in the package and is to be paid by the guests at the resort depending on the
number of days they are able to enter Sipadan Island.
7. Unused portion of the package is not refundable once tour commenced.
8. Full Name, IC number/passport number, gender, nationality and flight details to be forwarded at least 30 days before
the trip dates to facilitate our arrangement.
9. Package which is sold can be amended before guests arrive to the resort. But once the guests arrived and wish to
change the packages, it will be subject to SWV Resort approval.
10. The company shall not be held responsible and reserve the rights to charge the customer / agents for additional costs
rendered by any last minute cancellation, delay and changes of arrangement made by customer (Less than 48 hours
before arrival time as per schedule).
11. We reserve the right to amend, delete or add to these conditions or withdraw any rates herein at any time without
prior notice.
